What am I working on?

First, I have a lot of new code for GibPascal.  None of it I feel is ready for release.  Why, some of the completed code, I'm not sure I like the standard.  I'm not sure Turbo Pascal did some of this correctly.  Additionally, for some of the math functions, I'm debating best practices.  February is the first month in a while that I did not push out a release of GibPascal.

What else am I doing?  I am also currently working on two large databases that I would be mounting on MrGibson.com.  These database cover a couple of my interests, just not wanting to release yet until more is completed.

I have not received an of the items I ordered for my Santa Cruz, so I have nothing to report there.

Baseball cards are still on hold.  I have not purchased, organized, or cataloged any for a while now.  I do have some money burning a whole in my pocket at the moment though. (classic Topps and Fleer) lol

Nothing new on dice since the last two sets I purchased summer of 2021.  Went looking Saturday, but nothing I couldn't live without.  It is good to see prices of dice come back into check though.  Maybe baseball cards will also.  I'm also been thinking some on building a new dice box, but still not sure what direction I would take with that.  I would like something super usable like the last and as unique as the last.

Santa Cruz receives IIHS Top Safety Award

Hyundai has won quite a few IIHS Top Safety awards in 2021 and 2022.

Hopefully this will result with owners receiving better car insurance rates.

KC Returns! II

Ed Averett slipped a game past me in 2021-2022.  "KC Returns! II" is another Microsoft games featuring the Odyssey2 character KC Munchkin.  Really this is an update to the 2022 game release. This time he has added a mixture of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd game!  Also new concepts like "Marco Polo".

The original Santa Cruz concept vehicle

Just sharing the original Santa Cruz concept vehicle that everyone almost gave up hope on ever being released.  The concept was first released to the public by Hyundai in Jan 2015.
It was a great looking concept vehicle, and excited many people, but lets be honest - those suicide doors, back seats, tail gate, and tires would have been horrible on a production vehicle.

Santa Cruz Mods - First, the wish list

#1 Tail gate lettering -> Started as this has been ordered. picked up US raised letters:

#2 Tail gate LED light bar - I have the connection located on the rear driver side of the vehicle behind the lower quarter panel.

there are the plastic panel pin to pull down on.

#3 remote start - probably send in to shop for.

#4 Radiator protector screen - probably should be a higher priority. The radiator is not well protected on this vehicle.  I have already read about people having a truck in front of them throw a rock into their radiator.

#5 Two inch lift kit

#6 Front skid plate

#7 Front cow catcher.

Great Linux tools

Ever so often, I'm going to highlight Linux tools that are under appreciated. So today here are two:

IDE:
- Geany. A great IDE for XML, C, Pascal, Pearl, Ruby, PHP, and everything else. Extremely stable, fast, light weight, and does everything one could hope for in an IDE. I love it so much on Linux, I also use it on Windows. I use versions 1.37 - 1.38

Web-browser:
- Falkon. Web browser made by the KDE team. Although not perfect, and I have other browsers that are better, but in many ways in my benchmarks, I have it out peforming browsers like FireFox, Dillo, and Link2 easily in areas. Compaired to the newest Chromium, 20-40% faster and less memory running Office365 web applications. Falkon is a browser to consider because of speed and memory usage where it can outshine FireFox and Chrome. So impressed on Linux, I'm trying on Windows 10.

Update: Just as impresive on Windows as with Linux. Very FAST, and faster than Chrome! But Memory wise on Windows, not as impressive. Appears to be a memory hog on Windows, like Chrome.
